About
We think the other 167 hours deserve better tools.
Reflective exists for one reason: real change happens between sessions, and almost nothing in a therapist’s toolkit is built for that time.
Why we built this
Reflective started with a stack of photocopied worksheets — the kind that come back crumpled, half-finished, or not at all. Not because clients don’t care, but because a piece of paper can’t meet someone at 2am, in the parking lot, or on the bus where the hard moment actually happens.
The tools that did exist treated between-session work like compliance: streaks, nags, completion rates. That posture is wrong for therapy — and actively harmful for clients carrying trauma. So we built the opposite: software that invites instead of demands, and forgets the word “overdue.”
We work alongside practicing therapists across CBT, DBT, ACT, IFS, and ERP. Every default in the product — every label, every reminder, every piece of language — has been argued over with people who sit in the room.
Principles
Three things we won’t compromise.
Trauma-informed by default
No streaks, no guilt, no red badges. Clients set their own pace, and the software never punishes a hard week.
Private by design
Clients always know what their therapist can see. Private journaling stays private unless they choose to share it.
The therapist leads
Reflective never inserts itself between you and your client. No AI advice, no canned interventions — your words, amplified.
The team
Small team, clinical advisors on speed dial.
Come see what we’re making.
The best way to understand Reflective is to assign one activity to one client and watch what happens.
